Guest Reviews
Read the reviews, they will let you know what happens on the ride. I want to to mention that even on a day with 89% humidity and 31 degrees the ride was an enjoyable ride.
I would suggest to bring sunblock to protect against sunburn. Nothing more to mention other than we had an awesome day. The guides protected us by holding traffic so we could cross busy roads without any concern.
They are friendly and happy to have just as much fun with us. If they organise other tours I would be very happy to book with them on another holiday.
experience cycling in bali
This is our fourth visit to Bali and we have done cycling on each visit, and we wanted to go on roads we had not seen before. I emailed them a few weeks in advance and we arranged a tour through bamboo forests and away from where we had been before.
There were bikes were small enough for me and my daughter and huge enough for my lanky husband. The lunch afterwards in their home/business was amazing. Our only issue was the transport to the cycling.
We were picked up fairly early from Sanur, and assumed we would be cycling early and avoiding the afternoon sun. Not so – we were taken on a bus tour to Celuk, the silver village and it transpired that the itinerary was to go onto a coffee plantation and so on – all by bus!
Ehmmmmm. We wanted to go on a cycling tour. After significant negotiations but it turns out the cycling begins at 12.15 – when the sun is at it's strongest!
And you picked us up at 8.15 – that's four hours in a van with a car sick teenager who thought we were getting on bikes. Unpleasant.
If they arrange our next tour, I will be very clear when booking that we ONLY want to cycle and don't mind seeing stuff whilst on a bike and I am sure they will accommodate us.
We had the opportunity to see all kinds of sights through villages
What a wonderful way to explore beautiful Bali. We had the opportunity to see all kinds of sights through villages, magnificent temples and bamboo forests. Our guides were terrific.
Very responsible and careful. Our tour culminated in a delicious meal at a little restaurant in the middle of the rice paddies. An absolutely wonderful and memorable day. Our family of four all agreed.
(We paid a small fee extra to have it be a private tour and I highly recommend doing it this way). Thank you Bali countryside cycling!
they will let you know what happens on the ride.
